The most nightmare happened in the capital district of Mladost 1. “We were in front of the block to enjoy the New Year’s fireworks. At one point we saw that one of the apartments in block 95 was on fire ”, shares a BLIC reader.
According to her, firefighters responded quickly to the fire signal, but it is unclear if there were people in the department and what were the reasons that led to the fire.
Another fire occurred in the Druzhba neighborhood. There, in front of block 73, a car caught fire. The reasons for this fire incident are not yet clear.
A BLIC reader contacted our media to share what happened in the Lyulin district of the capital. According to him, the roof of Iglika’s kindergarten caught fire.
“The firefighters came very quickly. Fortunately, they quickly put out the fire,” says our reader.
Sofia residents contacted BLIC to point out dozens of burning containers in Sofia neighborhoods. It is not yet clear whether the fires were intentional or due to fireworks, which are an integral part of New Year’s Eve.
