Around 4.35 in the afternoon, the driver of the Renault left the road for reasons not yet clear and collided with a group of people on the sidewalk. The injured were taken to the hospital by rescue helicopters, local police said.
A local police spokeswoman said there was so far no evidence that the incident was intentional.
