The concessionaire alleges that the fortification works do not include excavation work and sand is not scraped. The purpose was only to protect the stormy sea strip in winter. He assured that the actions have been coordinated with the Ministry of Tourism, RIEW and the Cuenca Directorate.
However, according to citizens, it is not necessary to do so, as the beach is located in an architectural reserve.
After the practice was opposed on some beaches last year, the facility was withdrawn.
