Erzgebirge Aue CEO Michael Vogt spoke to “BILD” about the club’s interest in Levski’s Stanislav Ivanov.
He told the German edition: “It is true that we find this player very interesting. But negotiations are stalled at the moment, because suddenly there are more teams interested in Ivanov, including England and Turkey.
In Erzgebirge Aue, he could form a dangerous trio to attack with Florian Krueger and Pascal Testroet, but nothing has been decided yet.
“The transfer window is open until October 5. We will not attract new players at any cost,” said Vogt.
The team’s executive director did not confirm the information that the German club is willing to pay 700,000 euros for Ivanov’s rights. “This amount is not true. The club obviously cannot give that much money during the coronary crisis,” said Erzgebirge director Aue.
