Bulgaria ranks 8th in mortality from COVID-19 in Europe
Despite the difficult situation, there was a training session today at the Kardzhali Stadium. But few.
“We are the ones who are negative here. A rather unpleasant situation, a large number and consequently quarantined. Today we did a second test to make sure everything is safe,” said PFC “Arda” coach Nikolay Kirov .
The footballers passed a massive test yesterday. So far, only those with positive samples are in quarantine, although there are many contacts.
“Footballers remain in home quarantine, health is controlled and we have made a prescription for compliance with all measures against the epidemic”, said: Dr. Tanya Belovska – Director of “Surveillance of Communicable Diseases” at RHI – Kardzhali.
However, there is quarantine outside the club. And a whole class.
“One of the soccer players, winners of COVID-19 is a tenth grade student in one of the Kardzhali city schools and in this regard an epidemiological study is being carried out and RHI will take the pertinent measures in relation to the school” explained Nikola Chanev – district governor of Kardzhali.
The “Arda” – “Ludogorets” match will certainly be postponed. And forced rest will have a negative effect on the sporting form of footballers.
Although the quarantine will be for at least 14 days, the probability that Arda will miss another game in addition to the one with Ludogorets is small, as there are no championship games scheduled for next week.
