“These dams are designed to collect water when there is water and irrigate it in summer. At the end of the summer, when they have spilled water, you cannot say: give water to irrigate, but let the dam remain full.”
The problem, according to Emil Dimitrov, is that because the facilities are not very good, winter does not fill them enough, and perhaps a little more to get there.
“At the end of the year, not all the dams may be full. But due to the drought, the levels are at historic lows. This year, Koprinka had to have 40 million – 130 tributaries, 150, but we have a cost, at one point 20 million as it falls and stays at 20 … “
Minister Dimitrov said that the restrictions began in February.
