On his Facebook account, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov commented on the data from Europe, highlighting that Bulgaria is the only EU country whose deficit will not exceed 3% of Gross Domestic Product in 2020.
“The most affected countries will reach double-digit budget deficits in 2020. These are Spain and Italy. France will also be close to 10%. Four more countries will exceed the European average and will have a deficit of 8%. We expect the deficit of Ireland, Sweden, Hungary, Luxembourg and Bulgaria to remain below 6% of GDP ”, announced the European Commissioner for the Economy Paolo Gentiloni.
