A drug was found in the circulation blood, causing an unprecedented riot in Aytos, in which a young woman was killed and seven others were injured. A test with a technical device reported the presence of methamphetamine, Burgas District Attorney Georgi Chinev, who was at the crash site, told 24 Chassa.
“Autotechnical, forensic and other expertise will be named, the legal qualifications of the act will be specified and charges will be filed,” Prosecutor Chinev said. Most likely this will happen tomorrow, and the state prosecution will demand the imposition of the most severe restriction measure for the driver: “detention in custody.”
Two of the injured are in intensive care with heavy trams, the Burgas University Hospital announced.
The accident occurred around 12:40 today, in the area between the bus station and the Aytos roundabout. The truck was descending a steep section, coming from the Aytos pass. Suddenly, the driver lost control and crushed ten cars waiting at a green light, then crashed into a road fence and a pavilion in a private yard.
One of the crashed cars caught fire and burned a 28-year-old woman from Targovishte. Aytos does not remember such a tragedy, said Mayor Vasil Edrev.
