13,572 violations of speed limits were registered in the territory served by the Traffic Police Sector of the Ministry of the Interior in Plovdiv for the period from January 1 to May 8 of this year.
According to a database of the sector in the sections of the Trakia highway serviced by the regional management, 643 violations have been established according to this indicator. In 19 of the filmed cases, drivers drove the vehicles at a speed of more than 200 km / h. The maximum registered speed is 253 km / h.
On the roads in urban conditions there are 12 929. violations of speed regimes, for which the Plovdiv police have issued 12,791 electronic slips, and inspection officers have drawn up 210 acts to establish an administrative violation of vehicle drivers who have exceeded the maximum speed limit in an agreement of more than 50 km / h The highest penalty imposed on a criminal for speeding in the territory of the city of Plovdiv amounts to 1,350 BGN for a registered violation of 170 km / h while driving on a city boulevard. For this violation, the driver was deprived of the right to drive a vehicle for three months and was deprived of 12 checkpoints.
Traffic police officers will be uncompromising with criminals who, through their aggressive behavior behind the wheel, endanger the lives of other road users. Detection of driving criminals after using alcohol and drugs will be increased.
