Driver got rid of a fine of over BGN 1,000 after a serious violation of the Road Traffic Law, and then ordered the police to pay attorney’s fees in the case, reports Dnes.bg, citing Trafficnews.bg.
The man was driving his Mitsubishi on the Trakia highway in the direction of Burgas. Shortly before Plovdiv, at kilometer 108, he was seen by a Traffic Police camera moving at a speed of 242 km / h. This is 102 km / h more than the limit, for which a slip was issued with a fine of BGN 850.
Later, however, the slip was canceled by the Traffic Police and the culprit received a fine of more than 1,050 BGN. However, the man filed a complaint with the Plovdiv District Court, when finding irregularities and errors in the act that has been issued.
Finally the cancellation of the first slip played a bad joke on the Plovdiv traffic police, when the court overturned the sanction. In addition, the Ministry of the Interior must pay the driver’s legal fees in the case, which amount to BGN 600.
