Drama in Sunny Beach by COVID-19

Today in Sunny Beach there is not a single hotel and commercial site open. If this continues, everything talks about measures, the instructions are meaningless, because there will be nobody to apply them to.

This was told to Nova TV by Teodor Pasturmadzhdiev of the Homeowners Union in Sunny Beach.
The big problem facing the industry and concerns are related to the emerging lack of tourists and low employment, which for a large part of colleagues makes the operation of the sites not make economic sense.

“All of our efforts and conversations at this time should be aimed at trying to attract tourists, to provide the minimum employment needed for business in order to find the economic sense for the entrepreneur to operate,” said Pasturmadzhdiev.

“Then, with a constructive dialogue, I am convinced that we will be able to find this formula and combination in which the measures are such that once they are applicable to business and secondly to guarantee the health and safety of tourists”, added.

Hristo Chapkanov of the Owners Union said there was no answer to the question of what would happen if the airlines refused to return a COVID-19 infected alien to their country.

“According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization, it is not desirable in that case that the guest remain in the accommodation, and the same document establishes that he can be isolated,” he added.
