“If a month ago the situation was difficult, now it is simply catastrophic. The vaccination process in the general practitioners of Varna is totally blocked ”. This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by the general practitioner Dr. Nikolay Hristov. He has not received a single dose of the Covid-19 vaccine since February 22.
“There are vaccines in the green corridors. In Sofia, 1000 vials were distributed to general practitioners, that is, 10,000 doses for about 700-800 general practitioners in Sofia. Some trace amounts have been distributed in Plovdiv, in Varna not a single dose has been distributed since AstraZeneca was unlocked, explained Dr. Hristov.
A month ago, there were 160 registrations in his practice, now there are 260. “We still have registrations. But what exactly will happen, however, I can only say when he receives a vaccination and starts calling, which one of them will he still want, who will want to postpone. … “
According to Dr. Nikolai Hristov, the most logical thing is to return to the vaccination plan in its original version, because no plan is currently being worked on.
“Good or bad, it was a plan. The only thing worse than a bad plan is the lack of a plan,” commented the GP in “Before All.”
According to Hristov, green corridors are working and GPs are out of the system.
