“When we talk about restrictive measures, the main word is given to doctors and health professionals, the job of politicians is to turn them into legal texts. Real politics is a combination of political objectives, the government’s program and the fulfillment of the conjuncture of public wishes, because the rest are actions of stubbornness, which is not good policy.
Donchev explained that the forms of support now are radically different from the ways the state invested money before the coronavirus pandemic. Then there was a long cycle: at least a year to reach a real investment. Now, the first money in May managed to reach those in need in about 2 months.

He pointed out that a political force must participate in elections with the intention of governing.
Donchev also commented on the protests in recent months, explaining that there was a “clear and brilliant clash between the state and party interests.”
“For us, if we look at the interest of the party, it was much more profitable to resign in the summer. The fact is that the permanence in the Council of Ministers since the summer brings political damage ”, explained Donchev.
