The “poisonous trio” is about to part ways. This was made clear in a Facebook post by one of the leaders: Velislav Minekov.
The famous protester announced that he would withdraw his political and civic participation if the unification of all the discontents with the criminal government is not achieved by December 23.
Just a day ago, the “Poison Trio” revealed that they will stand in the parliamentary elections in coalition with Maya Manolova.
Immediately after this news, the leader of “Democratic Bulgaria” Hristo Ivanov denied Manolova and the Trio, saying that he would appear only in the next vote.
This is what Minekov wrote online:
“A few words, not in despair and not in hatred. It seems that self-eating is more desirable than union.
From Cicero to Ivan Hadjiiski we will be condemned to eternal solitude. The objective of the protest seems to be to remain part of the memories of a certain unit. It seems to me that I do not have the strength to be a mediator in the miseries of the adored mind. I would like to be Istanbul or Budapest, but we are likely to remain the same, from Liberation to today.
We will leave our tacit complicity in the affairs of a criminal government and the perfection of our ideological differences as a shadowy gift to the generation left behind. We will keep the Ottoman heritage secret in our souls, we will be revolutionaries with a suitable savior.

In view of recent events. I look forward to clear joint action against our conquered gang and the ruling stray dogs. Declaration of attendance for fair elections and clear and united intentions. Later, the government turned against the current mafia. Yes, it takes a compromise, it’s hard, it hurts. Those who live in the past must prefer the future.
And all non-parliamentary factions, parties and coalitions must make the painful gesture of unification. No alternative.
The negotiations are daily, the result is awaited. “Unity is strength” – to be read by all ambitious and pretentious hopefuls.
In the event that unification is impossible (until 23.12.), I intend to put an end to my political and civic complicity. I did what I could, Minekov wrote on Facebook.
