15 children with severe physical disabilities have to leave home for medical and social care in Buzovgrad village. The order for this to happen came this week. Children must be transported to different parts of Bulgaria before the end of the year.
Relocation is extremely difficult due to the condition of the children. It is not clear what kind of staff will take care of them and if they are prepared for 24-hour medical care, they say in the program “Hello Bulgaria”.
“We have participated in the deinstitutionalization process since its inception 10 years ago. Many of our children have been raised in foster care and others have been adopted by Bulgarians and foreigners. This is the best way to solve their problems,” he said. r Ivelina Panova.
He added that at that time there were only children who were very seriously ill and no one wanted them.
“These are nobody’s children, but they are ours. We talk about them as children, but 8 of them are over 18 years old. You have to take care of them and that is a specific job. Send them all over the world. Bulgaria at the time of the epidemic is strange, “added Dr. Panova.
“Situations are unpredictable, risks are in every activity, from taking care of children, from bathing to eating,” added another doctor at home.
