World number one Novak Djokovic secured a meeting with Rafael Nadal in the Roland Garros final, winning 6: 3, 6: 2, 5: 7, 4: 6, 6: 1 against Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semi-finals in Paris.

The Serbian was in full control of the match with a score of 2: 0, but his young rival played very hard and took the match to 5 sets. In the last part, however, the “Joker” showed his class and will argue with the great champion of this tournament, Rafael Nadal.

In the first two sets, the match showed no sign of longevity. The Serbian broke in the second game of the first half and did not lose his advantage, taking his serve 4 times in a row by 6: 3.

The second set was even more convincing in favor of the world No. 1 in the rankings. Despite the equal start, after 2: 2 Tsitsipas no longer smelled a single game, being hit twice in a row for the 6: 2 finale.

The third part took a different tack. After a 4-4 draw and an exchange of service games, Djokovic managed to get into a contested ninth game, having a chance to close out the match after just two hours of play. Then, however, his Greek rival stepped on the gas and it took 4 consecutive games to surprise the great champion and take the role with 7: 5.

The fourth set, in turn, was totally in favor of Tsitsipas, who led from the first point and with a great advance in the second game closed the part in 6: 4. In the decisive part, however, things acquired dimensions unpleasant for Tsitsipas. Djokovic made 3 advances and completely crushed his tired opponent, closing the match 6: 1 after just under 4 hours of play.

The grand final with Rafael Nadal will be on Sunday.
