Angel Djambazki is a Bulgarian nationalist and politician, vice president of “IMRO – in “Offensive with Lubo Ognyanov” on Channel 3.
He said that if the protesters declared a peaceful event, nothing would happen. “They vandalized and committed atrocities in front of the IMRO building, and after we poured water on them, they turned out to be vulnerable souls. It was an attempt to repel them in the gentlest way possible.”
Djambazki was very curious about one of the protesters. “The only one who suffered was a party leader who arrived in a particularly aggravated state and with self-inflicted eczema on the sidewalk.” He did not name him, but he was supposed to be talking about Volen Siderov.
Volen Nikolov Siderov is a Bulgarian politician and journalist, leader of the far-right nationalists.
He stressed that everyone has the right to have an opinion, everyone has the right to demand resignation. This is a legitimate right. But Djambazki sees no reason to do so.
Regarding his work at the Academy of Military Medicine, he said that now there are people from the protest in the hospital. He is a volunteer nurse at the Military Medical Academy. “I’m not there to advertise, that’s why I didn’t advertise.”
The politician stressed that North Macedonia simply has to comply with the good-neighborly treaty in order to join the EU. “So far they are hitting the ball. We were absolutely right, given the hatred and anti-Bulgarian rhetoric that has erupted there now. The burning of state flags is an international scandal.”
According to Djambazki, they must stop falsifying Bulgarian history and stop using hate speech. “Hundreds of thousands still live on the territory of North Macedonia who have a Bulgarian shyness. They must recognize the Bulgarian base of their language.” He is skeptical that in a month things will turn in a positive direction.
