Today, 08.29.2020, by order of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Bulgaria, District Prosecutor’s Office – Plovdiv filed a complaint in connection with journalistic publications, which indicate the growth of a Covid19 outbreak in a home for people with disabilities in Dzhurkovo, Lucky Township, Plovdiv District.

A joint inspection by the Department of Economic Police in the OD of the Ministry of the Interior – Plovdiv and RHI – Plovdiv was immediately ordered to establish: whether the anti-epidemic measures introduced on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria are observed in the home ; what is the regime introduced for the fulfillment of the measures by the head of the institution and what acts have been carried out; what is the access regime in the home for residents, staff and visitors and what measures have been taken to comply with it; If RHI inspections were carried out to comply with the anti-epidemic measures in the home and what was the result of them; on what occasion, on what terms and with what algorithm was the epidemiological study carried out at home, etc.
The results of the inspection must be reported to the Plovdiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office within 14 days.
