Did Kim Jong Un kill his sister out of fear of its publication?

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un likely killed his sister, TASS reported, citing South Korean media. Kim Yo-Chen, considered second only to the leader, has not appeared in public for several weeks.

“The North Korean ruler may have executed his younger sister for fear of losing his authority,” wrote the South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo.

The Seoul journalists’ assumptions are based on the fact that during his last visits to industrial plants, Kim Jong Un was accompanied by high-ranking party and government members, but not by his sister, as is customary.

Kim Yo-Chen was recently named by her brother as the second person in the DPRK. This means that in the event of Kim Jong Un’s serious illness or death, she would take command of the North Korean government. Kim Jong Un himself has been “buried” several times in recent months. The world media wrote that he was in a coma, in serious condition, and even denounced a mourning procession with a coffin.
