“A series of actions have been taken against a large number of high government officials, such as ministers, deputy ministers and mayors. We work very actively with Germany and Italy in these cases. The EC values positively the work of the administrative courts, taking into account the reduction of time to hear administrative cases ”, he added.
The EC welcomes the full implementation of the fight against corruption in the private sector and calls on Bulgaria to continue on the path it has taken. The commission hopes to work with the Bulgarian authorities to develop anti-corruption strategies more effectively, the justice minister said.

Regarding the lack of legal regulations on lobbying, Minister Ahladova assured that in this area Bulgaria will work diligently with the European Commission to study the best possible practices in Europe in this direction.
Regarding the draft of the new Constitution, the Minister of Justice clarified that for the moment this project is “frozen”, since the opinion of the Venice Commission is awaited.
