Cornelia Ninova is a Bulgarian BSP politician, member of the Parliamentary Group of the Coalition for proposed as point 2 of the draft decision on vaccines to include the text “entrusts the Council of Ministers with the preparation of a National Vaccination Plan against COVID-19, based on the principles of voluntary and free vaccination.”
The Minister’s assurance from the rostrum that such a plan exists and that it will be announced tomorrow, that vaccination will be voluntary and free, does not cost anything. We have heard these words many times from this rostrum. We are a parliament in a parliamentary republic. To vaccinate calm, order and predictability, we explicitly insist on the decision to sign after the minister says that it is. I hope there are no objections, the text will be voluntary and free ”, said Ninova.
At the same time, the Parliament approved the proposal for the participation of the Republic of Bulgaria in the agreements for the purchase of vaccines against COVID-19. 107 deputies voted “in favor” of the draft decision, without “against” and “abstentions” – 19, with which it was approved.
The agreements have been signed by the European Commission and drug manufacturers AstraZeneca, Sanofi and Pfizer.
