The Silistra prosecutor’s office is investigating the death of a 29-year-old pregnant woman. She died days before the scheduled date.
29-year-old Jevrie Yunuz’s condition deteriorated dramatically Monday morning and her husband called an ambulance. However, the doctors could not save her. The relatives received today the results of the autopsy, according to which the minor was transferred.
“The girl was 10 months old, the error of the doctor, Mr. Minkov, carried the pregnancy, the girl was 10 months old, received internal bleeding and poisoned the mother. How he could not see, how he did not understand, the child is in the tenth month ”, complains the mother-in-law Aysel Yunuz.
The woman’s OB-GYN, Dr. Lyubomir Minkov, managed her first two pregnancies and said there was no problem now.
“Something happened, an accident at her house and she arrived at the Emergency Center in a coma. According to her relatives, she simply fell and her relatives found her capable and searched for the emergency team. She was at the end of her pregnancy, she had a caesarean section planned for today, “said Dr. Lyubomir Minkov.
The Silistra District Prosecutor’s Office is investigating all possible versions, including medical malpractice.
Now all the exams will be reviewed, what was done before and during her pregnancy and before her death will be reviewed, “said Ivelin Chafalanov, spokesman for the Silistra District Prosecutor’s Office.
If a medical error and guilt are proven, the legislator has provided a prison sentence of up to 6 years for said crime.
