Traffic was blocked on Tsar Osvoboditel Boulevard and the police presence in the Triangle of Power was intensified.
There are checkpoints in the area where law enforcement officers thoroughly search the protesters’ personal luggage. Police officers in anti-conflict vests guard the National Assembly building.
Some of the protesters, led by BOEC, broke away from the crowd and marched and blocked Eagle Bridge shortly after 8:40 p.m.
