The protests demanding the resignation of the Boyko Borissov government and Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev continue for 58 days. On the second day, there are no roadblocks at key crossings in the capital, but demonstrations of civil unrest are scheduled tonight in the “Triangle of Power.”

People began gathering for another night of protests after 7:00 p.m. The police presence in the area has increased. A new checkpoint has been set up on Lege Street and law enforcement officers are checking the bulkier luggage.

This Friday, the “Poison Trio” appealed to the Bulgarian MPs:

“We make a public call to all the parties that say they are in the opposition and to all the deputies who remember their oath to join the Assembly, based on their morals and honor, to leave the plenary sessions and their work in the parliamentary committees! ! ” After “Bloody Wednesday”, everyone has the opportunity to decide whether to go down in history as supporters of democracy or as servants of the regime. Bulgaria will remember each of you! You decide what! ”

According to the Interior Ministry, “Bloody Wednesday” also saw well-organized provocateurs, as evidenced by the identical improvised explosive devices that were thrown at law enforcement officials, bTV police sources said.

This Friday there is a call for the barricades to be raised again in key places in Sofia.

By 20:00 in the “Triangle of Power” it was already crowded and traffic on Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. was blocked.

Many of those present expressed their sympathy for Hipoland for the inspection by the NRA and the company’s economic police, after the owner and his son criticized the Interior Ministry for using hot spray against protesters on September 2.

The protesters handed toys to the police officers present at the protest. Previously, the Interior Ministry denied that the inspection was politically motivated and announced that it had been suspended.

Later, images of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov in the logo of the famous film series “Ghostbusters” and other government officials were projected on the facade of the new National Assembly building. The traditional meeting of the organizers of the discontent with the “Poison Trio” was also held.

At around 9:40 pm, the protesters began to set up a tent camp again in the “Triangle of Power.” There are currently three tents and six tents in the area. The protesters declined to say whether they would set up barricades elsewhere in Sofia tonight.

One of the protesters said they were preparing for “Great People’s Uprising 2” on September 10 and hoped there would be no clashes and no violence.

The protesters insist that if law enforcement remove the tables, they will raise them again.

Tonight the traditional procession to the “Puente del Águila” did not take place, but stayed in Largo.

Until 11:50 p.m. the protest was peaceful and there was no tension.
