The night 115 of protests against the government took place under the sign of Halloween. Under the title “Let’s Cook Boyko” in Nezavisimost Square, they took several tons of pumpkins, brought by truck.

The protesters used pumpkins to paste photos of various politicians, most notably Prime Minister Boyko Borissov. “We will celebrate Halloween with the thought of the main pumpkin in the country, who unfortunately is the prime minister,” announced the initiators of the Poison Trio protest, emphasizing that everyone will be able to take a pumpkin home.

The action included markers with which the protesters wrote the pumpkins with the messages and drawings they wanted and how they decided to express their protest against the Prime Minister and Attorney General Ivan Geshev. The idea of the Poison Trio is to allow all those dissatisfied with the government to be creative in sculpting a message.

The mothers of “The System Kills Us” staged a performance by putting notes with the names of Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova, Speaker of Parliament Tsveta Karayancheva, Ministers Temenuzhka Petkova, Mariana Nikolova, Kiril Ananiev, Denitsa Sacheva and other cabinet officials in the pumpkins.

Shortly after 8 pm, protesters traditionally blocked the Eagle Bridge in the capital.
