This determined the lot, which was drawn at the headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. CSKA fell into Group 6 of the preliminary screenings, as the “Army” was not placed. This meant that they would face one between Bate Borisov (Belarus), Shkendija (Macedonia) and Partizan (Serbia).
As we have already mentioned, fate assigned the players of Stamen Belchev to play against Bate Borisov. The good news is that the meeting will take place at the Bulgarian Army Stadium, to be decided in a match on September 17.
Bate Borisov is a Belarusian football team from the city of Borisov. The team is a true hegemon on the local stage, and only in 2019 was their series interrupted by Dynamo (Brest). In Europe they have faced two Bulgarian teams: Levski and Litex.
