CSKA earned nearly € 5 million from their Europa League participation this season, and Ludogorets, 3.78 million.
The “Army” started from the first preliminary round of the tournament and reached the groups. There, CSKA recorded one victory and two draws. The team was eliminated in the first qualifying round of the Champions League and took another 280,000 euros and 300,000 euros from the two Europa League qualifiers. For the ranking in the groups, the “eagles” received the same amount as the CSKA 2,920,000 euros.
