Bruno Akrapovich started with a landslide victory at CSKA, albeit against a modest opponent. The Reds defeated Botev (Ihtiman) 5-0 in a match of the 1/16 final of the Bulgarian Cup. The match took place at the Bulgarian Army Stadium, although the third division team was a symbolic host.
