CSKA is again affected by coronavirus. The “red” club revealed that Petar Zanev and Ahmed Ahmedov tested positive for COVID-19, and everyone else’s tests are negative.
We remind you that Petar Zanev was part of the Bulgarian national team camp, which is a prerequisite for each club to retest their national team. The consolation is that the ‘lions’ captain is not traveling with the team for the Wales game, as he was injured in our home game in the Republic of Ireland.
Here is the official statement from the “reds”:
Army men,
We would like to inform you that the results of the routine tests at the beginning of each month for COVID-19 of CSKA players Petar Zanev and Ahmed Ahmedov are positive. All the other players and coaches on our team are healthy and continue the training process. The status of those infected is stable and they are well, since both are quarantined in a timely manner, complying with all mandatory measures and have received the necessary medical attention.
We wish Petar Zanev and Ahmed Ahmedov a speedy recovery and a speedy return to team training!
WE ARE WITH YOU!
