The CSKA Bulgaria football battle – “Levski”, to be played on Saturday (November 21) at 15:00, will not take place. The reason – the coronavirus infection that spreads to “Gerena”. The extraordinary PCR tests on Thursday returned positive results for five more “blues” musicians, and another six are still in quarantine due to COVID-19. According to the provisions of the Bulgarian Football Union, a football match of the First and Second Leagues is canceled in the presence of 10 infected footballers. In “Levski” it turned out to be 11 – a whole team fell ill, on the eve of the derby. For this reason, the game will be postponed and scheduled for another date. The Bulgarian Football Union is about to officially announce the necessary change after receiving the medical documents.

Gerena announced that the club’s coaching and sports staff, players and employees have passed extraordinary PCR tests for COVID-19. In addition to the five new infected players, there are three staff members with positive tests. after receiving the results, everyone is quarantined.

The “Levski” will miss two games in a row in the championship. Even if some of those who were previously quarantined on the team give negative results from their new tests after the quarantine expires, the match against Beroe on November 28 will not be played due to the massive infection at the Stara Zagora club.

Thus, the next game of the “blues” in Primera will be on December 5 against “Arda”. then Slavisa Stojanovic will make another debut at the front of the “blues”. And by the end of 2020, “Levski” will have just one more match, against “Tsarsko Selo” on December 12.
