There have been two deaths and 45 newly diagnosed with coronavirus in the Targovishte district in the last 24 hours. Among them are a teacher and two students with positive results of a virological test, said the Headquarters for Combating the Spread of Infection, headed by regional governor Mitko Staykov.

Most of the patients were found in the municipality of Targovishte: 35 people. In the municipality of Omurtag, six were diagnosed, in the municipality of Opaka two new ones were registered. In the municipalities of Popovo and Antonovo, a new patient has been identified.
As a result of the disease, the total number of new hospitalized is 14. With the exception of one patient who is housed for treatment at MHAT “Medica – Ruse”, all the others are treated in Targovishte district hospitals.
The other 30 diagnosed with COVID-19 were placed in home quarantine. Among them are a teacher and two students. Contact students in a total of three classes who received prescriptions to fulfill a 14-day quarantine. In the period of self-isolation, the educational process will take place in a remote electronic environment.
Two deaths have been recorded in the Targovishte district. After a proven coronavirus infection, a 42-year-old man from Popovo died today at Targovishte Hospital, and a 60-year-old woman from Prezviter Kozma village died at Omurtag Hospital.
