Coronavirus in Bulgaria: reported infected are again around 40% of those examined during one day – Bulgaria

For the second consecutive day, the percentage of positive tests in relation to the total tests carried out during the day remains around 40%.

4,390 are the new cases of COVID-19 infection in the last 24 hours in 11,068 PCR tests; positive samples represent almost 39.66% of all those analyzed. Yesterday (November 10) the ratio was 43.23%. This is displayed in the Unified Information Portal data.

Thus, the total number of positive cases in the country since the beginning of the epidemic reached 83,366 people. Of these, the active cases are 55,716.

4,176 patients remain in the hospital, 280 of them in serious condition, which represents about 7 percent of all hospitalized. The number of cured is also growing: 25,799, 516 of them were registered during the last 24 hours, which represents a decrease of just over 40 percent compared to yesterday (875 was the number of cured on November 10).

The number of deaths increased by 80, a total of 1,851 victims of the disease. That’s a fifth less than yesterday, November 10, when the death toll was 106.
