A cyclone brings bad weather in Greece and rainfall in southeastern Bulgaria
A change in time begins. A Mediterranean cyclone passes over southern Greece, which will also affect our country. On Wednesday, our southern neighbors announced a code red for rainfall and thunderstorms in the central and southern parts of the country.
In our country on Wednesday the day will start with foggy weather in the morning. Visibility will be reduced in low-lying regions, along reservoirs, in valleys and lowlands. The hours of sunshine will be short, as the clouds will increase from the south-southwest. It will rain here and there south of Stara Planina in the afternoon. Strong gusts of wind are not expected, but temperatures will drop slightly and today will be in the 16-21 degree range.
When will the first snow fall?
Precipitation is expected in the mountains of the southern slopes of the central and eastern Stara Planina, the Rhodopes, Strandzha and Sakar. Temperatures in the hot part of the day: from 6 degrees in the highest parts to about 13 in the lower regions.

During the night and tomorrow the rains will continue, affecting mainly the southern and eastern regions of the country. More significant amounts are expected in southeastern Bulgaria. Through Friday, the daily temperatures will remain in the 15-20 degree range. The cooling will be more noticeable on weekends as a result of a cold front. Friday and Saturday will be windy with strong gusts of cold wind from the northwest, best expressed on the Danube plain. The rain on Saturday and Sunday will be symbolic, but it will be cool.
