From 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., only trucks will be allowed to pass through the Kulata-Promahon border checkpoint in both directions, announced the General Directorate of the Border Police.
The current requirements for admission to the Hellenic Republic remain only for Greek citizens and foreigners with permanent residence, as well as for people who demonstrate travel for work or humanitarian reasons. All of them, as before, must send the Greek border authorities a pre-filled travel form, a QR code and a negative PCR test for COVID-19, carried out no earlier than 72 hours.
Each of the travelers in this category through the Promahon border checkpoint will be quickly screened at the checkpoint. In case of a positive result, Greek citizens and foreigners with permanent residence will be admitted and quarantined for 14 days, and the rest will not be allowed in the Hellenic Republic. These measures do not apply to truck drivers.
Only trucks up to 3.5 tons, carrying out international freight transport, with a driver with a QR code, received no later than 24 hours, will be able to pass through the Makaza border checkpoint in both directions 24 hours a day. Passengers will only be able to leave Greece from 7 am to 11 pm.
Only trucks with a driver can pass through the Ilinden-Exohi border checkpoint after presenting a QR code.
The Greek border authorities only allow trucks to pass through the Kapitan Petko Voyvoda-Ormenion border checkpoint.
Vehicles are not allowed through the Ivaylovgrad border checkpoint and the Zlatograd border checkpoint.
