The prosecution changed Christian Nikolov’s charge: He will already be responsible for the deliberate murder of Milen Tsvetkov. A Sofia city court decided to leave him in custody, BNT reported.

The results of the studies show that Nikolov was behind the wheel after using 4 different types of drugs, with a suspicion of 5. The prosecutor’s office requested Nikolov’s permanent arrest because, if released, he could commit another crime or hide.
Simona, Christian’s girlfriend, and Georgi, the son of GERB MP Lachezar Ivanov, remain free on bail of 10,000 leva each.

The results of the studies show that Nikolov was behind the wheel while using amphetamine, marijuana, cocaine, and bromazepam.

According to our sources, investigators are proving that Christian took drugs with one of the most expensive synthetic drugs, adrenochrome, also called “the satanic drug.” The substance is a derivative of adrenaline.

A careful analysis of the evidence gathered so far, as well as analysis by security cameras in the area, show that Nikolov’s car was most likely traveling at 120 km / h, accelerating to over 140 km / h when he hit the car, led by Milen Tsvetkov.

The investigators conclude that Christian did not intend to stop, and for that reason they re-qualify the charge of manslaughter.

Another car accident happened three years ago. There was an average bodily injury during it. Christian Nikolov’s mother, Desislava Pesheva, was brought to court by her. His criminal responsibility was replaced by a clean and judicial past with an administrative sanction, a fine.

Investigators have doubts that Pesheva claims responsibility for the catastrophe caused by her son and Christian. For this reason, the Supreme Cassation Prosecutor’s Office seizes this already concluded case and if it gathers sufficient evidence, it can be reinstated.

The BNT team asked Desislava Pesheva for comments, but she hid.
