CSKA 1948’s management has decided to change the club’s structure, dsport discovered. The current head coach of the team, Krassimir Balakov, will assume a new position: general manager, and the operational role of coach will be carried out by Yordan Yurukov.
The idea is to move to an English working model, in which Balakov will have mainly control functions, and Yordan Yurukov will be involved with more functions in the team formation process.
Despite the change, Balakov is still expected to officially lead the team’s matches in the efbet league. Yurukov does not yet have the necessary license to officially lead the team’s head coach.
The club chiefs are expected to officially announce the change in club structures soon. The club’s sponsor, Tsvetomir Naidenov, pretty much did it with a post on Facebook, explaining that Balakov’s powers are indeed increasing and now include the school.
CSKA 1948 started the championship worse than expected, winning only 3 points in 4 games. In the final two rounds, CSKA 1948 lost to Arda at home and scored 0: 0 away to Tsarsko Selo.
