The suspension of the voting machine is carried out by decision of the CEC. This was stated by commission spokesman Dimitar Dimitrov. From the second CEC briefing on Election Day, it became clear that the main issues were technical issues with the devices.

If automatic voting is suspended, continue with the ballot only. However, stopping the process with a machine does not eliminate the votes cast. They remain stored on the devices.

There were problems with Dobrich’s rosters during machine voting, which have peripheral shifts. For now, however, the CEC has made a reservation that they are in no rush to announce whether automatic voting will be suspended throughout the Dobrich region, as information appeared earlier in the day.

Participation increased – 18.14% at 12 o’clock.

Participation at 12 noon is 18.14%. The lowest number of people willing to vote in Kardzhali is 12.13%. The highest stake is in Sliven: 24.87%. The CEC said that compared to the previous elections, the current turnout is slightly lower. In 2017, 27.7% of voters voted before noon.
