Bulgarians without the right to work in England

The issuance of an insurance number to work in England is currently suspended due to measures against the coronavirus. This is what Bulgarians are pointing out in groups on social media.

The reason is that the employment offices or the better known ones in the UK Job Centers do not currently work to limit physical contact.

So far there is no information on when they will open, reports Monitor. The need for an insurance number is for everyone who plans to work on the island. Without this number, employers don’t hire people. However, to receive it, it is first necessary to indicate at the work office that the person wishes to apply for an insurance number. After about a week, the pocket center sends a letter to the address indicated by the applicant with an invitation for an interview. Therefore, people have to visit the institution on the appointed day and time and then an employee of the center asks if they need an insurance number. Within a month after the interview, the applicant receives a letter with the insurance number or a refusal to provide one with the reasons.

The topic is widely discussed on social media, as many of our expats want to go to England and are interested in the documents they need to work. Among the discussions there are those who affirm that there are employers who hire without insurance number, but in reality you can work for a certain period, for example a month.

Others offer assistance in issuing insurance as soon as the pocket centers are open for £ 30. For 50 hours, a translator can be engaged to appear for an interview for an insurer with a person who does not speak the language. For the less oriented, several of these paid services are offered. For example, they want £ 50 each to help with the settlement status. Between £ 70 and £ 100 comes from an accountant’s fees to end the tax year.
