14 Bulgarians are blocked in Germany. Among them are two small children of 4 and 5 years old. This was reported to NOVA by some of the travelers. According to them, they traveled by bus from Sofia to France, but were detained at the entrance due to the lack of PCR tests.

Before the trip, the transportation company told them several times that they did not need proof, the victims said. The police explained that this has been a new requirement for a few hours and those who do not take the test cannot continue. Those who have are waiting for the break and the necessary hours may soon pass.

“We have been here for 6 hours and we are waiting. We come to work, no one is traveling,” said one of the Bulgarians.

“The situation is really complicated. The Foreign Ministry note was published after the bus left. We are trying to solve the case,” said Georgi Atanasov, Union Ivkoni CEO.

“Currently, the situation on the ground cannot be resolved, so we have organized a bus to return them to Bulgaria. It was sent from the nearest place and will be with them in about 6-7 hours,” he explained.

According to him, there is the option of providing them with a hotel.

“I don’t find any fault with the passengers or the company,” Atanasov added.

Later it became clear that the people would be transported to Stuttgart, from where a company bus would return them to Bulgaria.
