Started! First tightening of measures in our country – see where
The district governor Valcho Cholakov called for a tightening of the measures in the territory of the Burgas district. Active inspections have been started to comply with anti-epidemic measures at all points of sale, large companies, workshops and institutions.
RHI, the Food Agency, the Labor Inspectorate and the Ministry of the Interior will participate in this. This is necessary due to the increase in the number of patients and the non-compliance with mandatory measures.
At a meeting of the regional headquarters to combat COVID-19 it was clear that the number of infected today is 64. Of these, only 6 are in Burgas. The rest are in the municipalities of Ruen, Aytos and Karnobat. The cases of coronavirus in a sewing workshop are of people from the town of Zaichar, municipality of Ruen – 25 and Aytos – 24.
To limit the spread in Zajecar, public catering squares are closed for ten days. The village will not be quarantined, but strict control of quarantine compliance by those infected and their contact persons will be carried out.
The number of hospitals that will treat the coronavirus is increasing. Their total number is 5 – University Hospital – Burgas, Pulmonary Hospital in Burgas, Aytos Hospital, “Burgasmed” in “Meden Rudnik” and “Deva Maria” University Hospital. Extra beds have been opened at Aytos Hospital. The total number of beds currently available for the district is 91. If the number of patients increases, new ones will be opened.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in the Burgas district, 782 people have been diagnosed with Kovid-19, 423 of them have been cured. There are currently 350 active cases.
