Bozhkov offered general lists of Trifonov, the showman refused

Businessman Vasil Bozhkov, who was hiding in Dubai, offered Slavi Trifonov to appear with common lists in the next parliamentary elections, but the showman refused. This was made clear by the two’s posts on their Facebook pages.

Earlier this morning, Vasil Bozhkov, against whom 18 charges have been brought, suggested that Trifonov run in the parliamentary elections together.

“Many of the objectives of the” Bulgarian Summer “and of the PP” There is such a town “coincide. The policies also. We offer participation with common lists in # elections2021. Gloria, if you really want to save Bulgaria, join” – the businessman wrote on his Facebook page.

The TV presenter’s reaction was not late and through his Facebook page Trifonov rejected Bozhkov’s offer.

“Already on November 30, I said that the party ‘There is such a people’ would stand for election on its own. I am a consistent person and I am doing what I have said.”Slavi Trifonov wrote.

Bozhkov’s Bulgarian summer party was not registered for the April 4 elections after prosecutors appealed the Sofia City Court’s decision to allow Bozhkov’s party to enter the political party registry. The head of the game later announced that he would run for election with a “mandate”, probably referring to another party’s registration. Apparently, Bozhkov has decided that “such people exist” can enter this role. It is not clear if the businessman had a “Plan B” and among the parties already registered there is one to run in the elections.

A total of 31 parties and 8 coalitions submitted documents to stand in the parliamentary elections on April 4. The deadline for this expired on Wednesday. After GRAO inspection, it will be clear if everyone will receive the record. The names on the lists will be clear on March 2.

The number of Bulgarians abroad who have applied to vote is also increasing. Traditionally most of them are in the UK – over 6,800 people. It is followed by Turkey with more than 4,900 requests to vote and Germany with roughly the same number.

To date, 66 countries have already authorized polling stations in their territory.

The electoral campaign will begin on March 5 and will last until April 2.
