The head of the game, Vasil Bozhkov, reacted quickly to the news that some of the items confiscated in his office had been taken to the warehouse of the Museum of Socialist Art.
This is what the businessman wrote on his Facebook page:
“The NIM depots have become a feeding ground for Shishi’s new smuggling. The specialized prosecutor’s office continues to act as a looter under Mirinski’s direct leadership. From one place to another. More convenient for the ‘assimilation’ of cultural heritage and world historical, which will disappear from Bulgaria forever. “
According to information from Trud newspaper the objects were brought in boxes and unloaded under the supervision of prosecutors and with heavily armed guards at the warehouse of the Museum of Socialist Art at 7 Lachezar Stanchev Street in Sofia. According to the special prosecutor’s office, the new warehouse was equipped in accordance with all regulatory requirements for the storage of cultural monuments: humidity, temperature, etc. It’s not full yet and more antiques will likely be brought in in the next few days. Its packaging and transport would also be carried out by experts, with specialized vehicles and under strict surveillance.
