Three of their contact persons are ministers and are in isolation, including Health Minister Kostadin Angelov and Associate Chief State Health Inspector Prof. Angel Kunchev.

The virus entered Dondukov 1 on Friday, with regional deputy minister Nikolai Nankov. He was in the prime minister’s jeep on a tour of the Rhodopes last weekend. The contacts also included ministers Kiril Ananiev, Desislava Taneva, Petya Avramova, and former cabinet president Sevdelina Arnaudova. Ananiev and Arnaudova have negative tests.

Borissov was quarantined on Saturday afternoon. 24 hours later it is positive again. And again in quarantine.

Temenuzhka Petkova, Rosen Zhelyazkov, Georg Georgiev, Kostadin Angelov, Associate Professor Angel Kunchev, Borisov’s chief of staff, Denitsa Jeleva, and Sevdalina Arnaudova from the seat of government will now be in isolation.

On Friday, the prime minister met live with United States Under Secretary of State Keith Krak and Ambassador Hero Mustafa. Before, in a control test, you get a negative result.

The Prime Minister also briefed the representatives of the American delegation through the US Embassy, ​​who were visiting Bulgaria and met with him on Friday.

The US embassy said it had been notified of the prime minister’s test results and was following isolation protocol. From there, they wished that all Bulgarians were healthy and safe.

After Borissov’s statement, President Rumen Radev announced that today’s test was also negative.

There is no public information about a meeting of the National Operational Headquarters. The bTV team was unable to contact their representatives. The GERB press center also announced that it would not comment at this stage.

In the last 24 hours, almost 15% of all coronaviruses tested in Bulgaria are positive. These are 1043 new cases. 130 were cured and 13 lost the battle with the infection.

The number of patients with the virus in the hospital is close to 2000, 138 of them are in intensive care units.

To date – in 13 districts the planned operations are stopped, in another 7 and the planned admission – depending on the number of patients.

The discos are already closed in Pernik, Sofia, Shumen, Targovishte and Blagoevgrad, and on Monday in Sliven.
