From September 8 to 21, all Bulgarian pensioners will receive for the second consecutive month the 50 BGN in addition to their pensions provided by the government in support of the most vulnerable in the pandemic, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said on his Facebook page.
“We will also grant this assistance to 2,120,000 pensioners in October,” he said.
“We are increasing the salaries of NSSI employees who participate in activities to prevent the spread of the coronavirus by up to 30%.
They will receive the promotion later this week. For this purpose, we have allocated more than 5 million additional BGN.
The minimum unemployment benefit will also increase by more than 30%, covering between 30,000 and 33,000 unemployed on average per month from October 1 to December 31, “Borissov said.
