Prime Minister Boyko Borissov went for an inspection in the rainy weather.
Along with Borissov are Finance Minister Kiril Ananiev and Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova. CITUB Chairman Plamen Dimitrov and Podkrepa Labor Party Leader Dimitar Manolov are also present.
Next year, the minimum pension is expected to increase from 250 BGN to 300 BGN. People with pensions between BGN 300 and 350 will have an increase of 10%, and the rest – 5%, said Ananiev.
For 11 years, under each of our governments, we have run a budget surplus. Nobody can accuse me of electoral expenses. Now all these funds are given: 60/40, pension supplements and others, in the conditions of the pandemic, Borissov said.
People see that restaurants are closing, they see that things are going wrong, but still everyone wants an increase in income. That is why we foresee a 10% increase in revenue, as we have been doing all these years. 360 million are given for teachers to fulfill the promise of a double increase in their salaries, for the front-line people there is an increase in salaries, added the prime minister.
The Prime Minister also showed the location of the seventh reactor at the Kozloduy nuclear power plant. He revealed that an environmental impact assessment has already been issued, with which the project can be started.
We are now in the conditions of a pandemic and an economic crisis, so we allow ourselves to allocate more money, Borissov said.
