Relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia are very important for this region, we insist on an immediate ceasefire, as we maintain extremely friendly relations with both countries, they are very important for our trade. ”said the Bulgarian Prime Minister Borissov pointed out that our country is categorically opposed to the participation of third countries in the conflict.
The Prime Minister expressed his hope that on the basis of dialogue and negotiations the necessary decisions will be taken to normalize the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean. The Prime Minister noted that all conflicts near Bulgaria can be overcome through diplomacy. “That is why I think the European Union has held consultations very well, and I thank Charles Michel, as well as the German Presidency, with Chancellor Merkel, for literally pacifying our region,” Prime Minister Borissov said.
