I am convinced that we will reach a decision in the next few hours, said Prime Minister Boyko Borissov on his arrival to participate in the European Council meeting in Brussels on the occasion of the negotiations on the next EU budget.

It is extremely important that we meet live, I am convinced that today and tomorrow we will achieve positive results, said Borissov. According to him, for some countries the transition to a clean economy may be more expensive, but solutions can be found to support countries with coal-fired power plants. The Prime Minister pointed out that our country hopes that it will be foreseen in the determination of this support, reports BTA.

According to him, at the meeting of European heads of state and government, the European Commission is expected to announce data on the approval of vaccines against covid. The commission is expected to specify the order in which the vaccines will be supplied to EU countries.

We have always said that there must be an agreement, said the Prime Minister on the occasion of trade talks with Great Britain.

He added that the new administration in Washington is an important geostrategic partner for Bulgaria and the EU.
