The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of maintaining a balance between measures against the epidemic and supporting the economy. “No one should be left with the impression that the measures are intended to harass companies or individuals. For the economy to function, this balance must be carefully maintained,” said the Prime Minister. Borissov added that it was important for the number of cured to increase, for the state to go through the crisis and for companies to function. Economy Minister Lachezar Borisov emphasized a new business support measure, to be announced this week. “We use an innovative approach: for the first time in the procedure, we will include the NRA, to achieve maximum speed and response to business expectations,” said Minister Borissov. The Minister of Social Affairs informed the Prime Minister that the conditions of the “Employment for you” measure have also been modified, so that the unemployed can be hired for 6 months for a payment of 610 BGN until the end of the year and 650 BGN to starting next year. “It is also possible to request family assistance from parents who have unpaid leave and their children up to 14 years of age study at a distance, and who meet the conditions of the income criteria. They could apply for state support through the Social Assistance Agency in the amount of BGN 610 per month, “said Minister Sacheva.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Mariana Nikolova, noted that, according to industry information, Bulgarian tourism is stable.
