So far, almost 150,000 Bulgarians have been vaccinated and more than 17,000 people have been vaccinated in a single day. More than 200,000 patients have recovered from COVID-19.

The Prime Minister ordered the Minister of Health Prof. Kostadin Angelov to discuss in today’s next meeting with the industry the necessary actions regarding the preparation of restaurants and bars to work from March 1. In this context, Borissov pointed out that vaccination should continue at the rate achieved, and mobile teams provided for remote settlements should be immunized, as this is the way that sectors closed by the pandemic can return to work under certain conditions and capacity.
“In Bulgaria, with measures strictly observed and, at the same time, the most liberal in Europe, we maintain results that allow people to live normally.” The Bulgarians do not feel that there is a pandemic as in other European countries, “said the prime minister. .
Measures relax despite high COVID-19 infection (OVERVIEW)
During the cabinet meeting, Health Minister Kostadin Angelov briefed the Prime Minister on the current situation in the country.
“Regarding the organization established for the mobile teams, today we have declared the needs of Ahtopol, where we have sent a mobile team from RHI-Burgas, and two other teams are in the villages above Veliko Tarnovo, in Hainboaz. There also begins the vaccination today ”, said the Minister of Health.
Angelov added that all the mayors in the country are informed about the possibility of applying for mobile teams and the health authorities are assisting them as soon as possible.

Borissov expressed confidence that despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the European Commission will take the necessary steps to ensure a rhythmic supply of vaccines.
