According to him, local decision-making for the transition to an e-learning environment remains the most appropriate approach for schools.

Education Minister Krassimir Valchev stated that e-learning for students is an effective alternative when it comes to a shorter period of time. “We spoke with Minister Angelov, we monitored the values and we gave the opportunity to apply in the schools an alternative learning approach face-to-face and learning in an electronic environment”, added Valchev.
He noted that a solution for the mandatory use of protective masks in classrooms for students from 5th to 12th grade was discussed and will be proposed. The Education Minister pointed out that so far Bulgaria has the most liberal regime compared to other European countries regarding masks for students.
